To bill a patient, you need to first add their insurance. Follow these steps:

Go to Chevron Menu (<<) → Patient → Patients

This will take you to the patient list page.

Click on the name of the patient for whom you want to add insurance details.

You’ll be redirected to that patient’s dashboard. From the patient’s dashboard, click on Demographics.

At the top of this page, you’ll see tabs like Patient Info, Insurance, Contacts, Flags, and Home Work.

Click on the Insurance tab. You’ll find three insurance type sections: Primary Insurance, Secondary Insurance, and Tertiary Insurance.

To add Primary Insurance information, click on it, then select Add Insurance on the right corner.

A popup will appear. Enter the following fields:

  • Insurance Payer
  • Primary Insured and Member ID
  • Group ID and Plan ID
  • CoPay
  • Deductible
  • Insurance Payer Phone and Fax
  • Employer/Schooler

Ensure all required fields are filled in correctly, then click “Save” to add the Primary Insurance details.

To clear all fields, click “Clear”; to cancel the entry, click “Cancel”.
